dating: about 1870 provenance: Papal States, Slightly curved, single-and false-edged blade, tang marked 'F. HÖRSTER SOLINGEN'. Bronze hilt with three wide loop-guards, the first one pierced and with slightly visible coat of arms. Anatomical horn grip (some missing parts). Complete with silver-threads sword knot and scabbard with two suspension rings. length 103 cm.
