Rare and precious second edition of the Sacred Hymns by Giovanni Francesco Pico della Mirandola, nephew of the more famous Giovanni Pico. & nbsp;
The Hymns configure a path between verses and philosophical works that illuminate the relationship between Pico and the intellectual context of the early sixteenth century. They allow us to glimpse the emergence of a religious identity which, far from being simply Christian, is actually the result of a careful examination of the intellectual and spiritual currents available at the time of the author. The references to the discovery of America, here attested, are interesting and curious.
