Henri Chopin (1922 - 2008) fu uno dei più significativi poeti d'avanguardia della seconda metà del XX secolo. In quella che definisce "poésie sonore" usa la sua voce, un microfono e apparecchi di registrazione amatoriali. "Le discours" fu registrato durante la performance a Lund, in Svezia, realizzata insieme all'attore e poeta francese Jean-Loup Philippe.
