Cabriolets built on the W111 platform were presented at the 1961 Frankfurt Motor Show. In 1965 the 250 SE coupé and convertible (W111 III) were launched. These versions were fitted with disc brakes also at the rear and were then replaced in 1967 by the 280 SE (coupé and cabriolet), equipped with the 2.8 M130 injection, capable of delivering up to 160 hp. This car was delivered new on September 15, 1969 in France, as per the certificate of origin of the parent company, available. The car was registered in Italy in 1994 with Como number plates which it currently has. The car is in an excellent state of conservation. The MOT is valid and renewed until 2024. The livery is an elegant green combination with black leather interior. The car is equipped with automatic transmission, air conditioning, original Becker radio, hood cover.
